How do you determine the right style for your customers?
I find out basic and current walk of life. Is it a family home with children and pet, is it retirees, young couple etc… I ask how would like their room/ home to describe them? What’s the use for the room? Then I analyze their design needs and start with sketches and ideas.

What aspect of your job brings you the greatest joy?
When I sit down with a client and do basic sketches and show plans and suggest different options. When the final choices are all well coordinated with colors, style, textures, and scale and having a good flow of energy with the layout of furniture. When the design becomes very personal with every individual client and when the room tells a story about the family.

What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday, assuming you’re not working?
I love spending time with my family and friends. I attend sporting events for my kids. I enjoy doing DYI projects around the house. I love going for road trips.

When the weather is warmer, I enjoy going for a long nature walk with my dog Buddy. Flowers and vegetable gardening is what I enjoys doing in the summer. On the weekends I like trying different restaurants with my husband. Yoga and working out at the gym is a routine for me.
